On Armistice Day  (11th November) 2018 an intrepid couple launched their coastal double through the surf at Viech’s Pier adjacent to the northern breakwater at the harbour mouth in Durban. Their intention is to row from there to Simon’s Town, their home base near Cape Town, 1600 km by sea. They will be taking minimal food with them as they plan to land along the beach in 30-40 km hops each day and overnight at campsites or caravan parks

Follow the Conradies as they row from Durban to Simon’s Town
