Durban Rowing Club
Durban Rowing Club have over 100 members of different fitness and rowing abilities. There are the hard core competitive members, the members that train regularly in their crews and then there are the social rowers. Weekly conditioning is critical for good performance. Casual Rowing members do not race much, but complement the social side of DRC. Our oldest rowing member is 90 and our youngest is 9 and we have a wealth of experience in our club a great tradition, which we are very proud of! DRC is one of the oldest sports clubs in the country.

Henley Midmar Rowing Club
Henley Midmar Rowing Club is based in the Natal Midlands at Midmar Dam. On the closest Sunday to the middle of winter the club hosts the Midmar Long Row an event brimming with treats like the halfway stop where roasted marshmallows on the open fire are enjoyed alongside homemade German Biscuits as herds of Wildebeest wonder down to see what all the fuss is about. To remind you you are in Africa the Fish Eagle calls her plaintive cry from a nearby perch. Life simply does not get better than this. This event is new but as word gets out it will attract nature lovers from around the country.

Kwamashu Rowing Club
The Induna Sports Club was started in KwaMashu in 1987 It has recently added indoor rowing to the many codes offered at the facility. It will soon be taking to the waters. Contact Sox Mthimkhulu to find out how you can take up this exciting new sport. The club now boasts 7 officially trained coaches who each have Level 0 and have partially completed Level 1 Coaching Courses

Midlands Rowing Club
Midlands Rowing Club is situated at the stunningly beautiful Albert Falls Dam near Pietermaritzburg in KZN. The water is usually fabulous for rowing all day and one can see wildlife and a variety of birds whilst training. We are a small and friendly club which welcomes everyone regardless of experience, including people with disabilities, for whom we have special boats. The club house is also wheelchair friendly. Social rowers or serious athletes are all welcome!
UKZNRC
UKZN PMB Rowing Club
UKZN is the bridge between schools and senior rowing. It is a constituent member of USSA-R the university body that governs the sport of rowing in South African universities.
The university students own the rights to fun and this is best portrayed by the two ‘university only’ events they compete in each year. USSAR Sprints which is rowed every March at venues that move around the country and The Universities Boat Race on the Cowie River in Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. This event attracts 12 universities from around the country.
UKZN holds the distinction of being the most transformed rowing university in the country. Its proud history includes wins at boat race. If you are a student at UKZN come and join us
